Diva Days

Getting women involved in horse racing has always been near and dear to Joanne's heart. She created her Track Diva Days to educate and engage women in the sport through high-end days at the races.

Joanne launched her program 15 years ago and has traveled coast-to-coast bringing her Diva Days to tracks including Belmont Park, Delaware Park, Hollywood Park, Keeneland, Laurel Park, Pimlico Race Course and Santa Anita Park.

The events are held in exclusive areas at the track and begin with a seminar made up of a panel of women specific to the region. Past guests have included jockeys, trainers, vets, stewards, artists, writers, clockers, racing managers, executives, jockey agents, breeders, photographers and TV personalities. Trips to the starting gate, paddock and winners circle are highlights, but many ladies choose to relax, enjoy the gourmet buffet and place a few wagers.
